Lost in the highlight was the news at the bottom of the screen that the Dolphins claimed a taco.

I don’t mean to say that Greg Schiano is right about anything, and it’s different because this was a tie game and they were within threatening distance of scoring, but there should probably just be a signal to the refs of “hey, we’re going to run out the play clock” rather than the whole kneel down thing.

There is likely far more information that what is presented here but there is no issue with having an independent contractor working for you at a price the hiring agency sets and both parties agree upon.

I don’t think it is that simple. I recall other articles pointing out that drivers are punished via the system if they don’t accept rides. If that is the case, then they are definitely not free to sell their goods at whatever price they want.

Its amazing to me that a company who is screwing customers and workers with price fixing using surge pricing AND declaring their actual workers as independent contractors, all to make more money, and they STILL lose billions of dollars a quarter

I feel bad for that guy in the lead photo. He’s out there, fighting for a cause he truly believes in and gets his photo taken at the exact moment he’s noticing the stain on his shirt. His friends are going to DESTROY him when they see this.
