it’s almost as if good customer service and a consistently good (and consistently fast) product will bring people in.

Mason Foster - “I hate this team! They suck!”

The secret to all of this is Gerardo Parra. Team was 15-33 when they added him back in May and have gone 35-21 since. Dude is an absolute delight and seems like the best teammate ever. Never thought I would love dugout dance celebrations as much as I do with Parra leading them.

I’m surprised at the rather tepid response to Rep Green’s impeachment attempt from a site that practically made daily demands for the house to act even if it failed . One man does this and the reaction is more or less ¯\_(ツ)_/¯?

Jimmy Butts on the Lakers? I see that we’re taking the control rods all the way out now.

Nah. What it really is that they do serve good tasting food. Their stores are clean and their service is great. Most people don’t give a shit about the political thing and they want a fast food place where the food is good, the restaurant is clean, and the service is top notch. Chick-fil-A gives them all of that.

Ctrl+F “pho”

Whatever dude. This has been an amazing first round for the Skins.

Its just a chicken restaurant, and people are allowed to oppose, or support, gay marriage. Chill and have a chicken sandwich, or dont. Just leave the zambonis alone.

Yeah, but she ain’t wrong. I’m all for keeping progressive momentum going in pulling the Democratic party more to the left through primaries. But in 2018 the House was flipped by less leftist Democrats winning in swing districts, not the (outstanding people that we need more of) handful of progressives who won in

The real thing that gets in the way of hockey growing in popularity isn’t fighting or lack of fighting or penalties or lack of penalties or goals or lack of goals or any of the billions of other reasons people claim hockey isn’t growing. It’s cost and knowledge.

I don’t particularly like fighting, which always seems dumb, and it is an admirable instinct to want to rid the game of it. But is there any evidence that a fight every few games is what is keeping hockey from being a mainstream sport? I have never heard anyone say “I’d watch more hockey, but sometimes they fight.”

They don’t care what the kid thinks because that would disrupt their outrage.

maybe Our Dumb President is right and the Jets really are too complicated to operate

You’re beating a straw man, and I’d like to address this argument in a longer reply since I’ve seen it pop up again and again here. If misogyny were the reason for the backlash against Ghostbusters 2016 or Captain Marvel, why did the same men who don’t like these properties enjoy Wonder Woman? Why are they loving Alita

Kobe is a big advocate of making people to do things they don’t want to do.

Derek Boogard is a tragedy but the actual act of fighting was not the cause. Instead of just saying his name over and over, how about actually knowing that he had very bad substance abuse problems that were not handled well by the NHLPA or the NHL. That he got addicted to those substances from other, non-concussion

TBH, not being able to find or have an apple delivered after a couple of hours is pretty incompetent.

Uhhh. Because Ruben Foster is a good football player, and worth the risk if he can clean up his act? Just spit-ballin’ here. Somehow, Kaepernick being blackballed for kneeling has morphed into a team being obligated to sign him because he kneeled, despite the fact that he’s not a good football player anymore. If
