What’s the point of this?  I’m familiar with countries trying to incentivize baby-making when the birth rate is in decline, but what possible benefit could more children have on a country that’s in a death spiral for reasons completely unrelated to the ratio of old people to young people?  Their economy is too wrecked…

There is no investment “some leftists” have, you disingenuous, ignorant troll. Venezuela is not socialist; Venezuela is a fascist, authoritarian regime who nationalized key industries for greed and power. It is much closer to the monarchical oil kleptocracies of the Middle East for the same reasons.

I have a co-worker that behaves much the same way, and it baffles me. She’s black, her kid is mixed, and her sister is a lesbian but yet she regularly shits on immigrants and the gay community. I’ve just never understood how the cognitive dissonance doesn’t vibrate her to pieces, I guess.

Fun fact: I lived in the US for 2 years, routinely spoke my native french everywhere with friends that were here with me, stole one of y’all jobs for a while, and weirdly enough, nobody ever told me to speak english. People usually swooned and squee’d.

I’m from Texas and find that shit especially bananas here. 1) the U.S. has no official language 2) TEXAS USED TO BE PART OF MEXICO AND SPAIN and 3) Texas law, since way back when Texas was a country, requires that laws/government stuff be translated into Spanish. I wonder why that is, racists?

Lavender, rose, mint, and aloe vera. It is supposed to create a “soothing cooling sensation”. For some yes, for others, I can imagine there is some burning involved, especially for things like the “Everyday Panty Liner” being worn all day every day.

Essential oil infused pads? Is that not dangerous for delicate bits? Or is that just for people like me who are allergic to everything under the sun (natural or synthetic, my skin doesn't care).
