There is no lack of firearm training, believe me. In addition to POST-certified academic standards, LE (at least here) has to regularly re-qualify on the range and on “shoot/no-shoot” drills.

It’s not adrenaline or emotional “instability;” it’s muscle memory.

My shot wasn’t offered to her, and I didn’t ask, TBH. I am extremely healthy, have the luxury of WFH, and our kids need in-person classroom instruction. My daughter has type-1 diabetes. There is almost no change in her behavior when her blood sugar goes high. She’ll just as quickly throw a tanty about her brother getting something she didn’t no matter what her glucose monitor reads. But she’s five years old; this is expected. This dude?
