My guess is that she didn’t want to face the “suspects” and the realization that her fears were misplaced, once she got the story from the police. Basically a “shit I called the cops on some black guys, turns out they weren’t trying to rob the place, no way am I going out there now.”

No. The news report says that the owner himself said he was referring to a robbery that happened in Green Bay. He never referenced to that store experiencing any robberies. The last time that store called police was in July 2015 for a car racing in the alley. There was no reason for the way those jewelry employees…
