Interesting twist to the comfort principle: I've been giving some serious consideration to a massage chair. They can cost several thousand dollars, and you wouldn't sit in one for hours. But getting a massage once a week costs 75-100 dollars, and that's just for one person.

I can't understand how some people look at spousal abuse and say "that's wrong", but whupping a kid is okay because it's "discipline". No...it's the same thing. Really, even worse because it's a kid.

So the gray areas where there is no game...that's because the stadium didn't sell enough tickets? Do all NFL teams have this requirement, or is it a decision made by the team and stadium?

It's exactly like Cowboys fan, except he's in the stadium.

Can I just say I love Dallas sports radio talk, where even the "exclusive home of the Dallas Cowboys" openly discuss how badly they suck?

Amy's Bean burrito. 2 eggs over medium. 2 slices of american cheese. Siracha sauce. Hello breakfast.

here's a story for you. Well paid but really busy husband, wife, two kids. Kids are in school, wife starts law school. Takes four years, not three, she's worried about taking the bar exam, planning a graduation party, and husband asks when graduation is so he can be there with the kids. And it all came apart. She

So, right now I'm doing running and swimming. Running is something I've done in the past, swimming is new. The result of adding swimming right now is that I feel tired. I can swim 50 meters, then need 20-30 second rest to continue. I can run (slowly), but my body would rather walk fast.

Watching the game, I kept repeating to myself "that bald guy is bad luck." And that's the extent of my soccer knowledge.

I have a lava lamp phone at work. What I would love to find is a wave machine, though. Those things were awesome.

Pancake mix with cream cheese, sugar, lemon juice? Looks good, how was taste? And what proportions did you use?

You're under a misconception here, thinking that Planned Parenthood is an abortion center. If you call about adoption, they'll point you in the right direction. Mammograms, pap smears, birth control…Planned Parenthood is all about reproductive health and education, abortion is a tiny (but important) part of it.

if you didn't make it and try it, then I reject your criticism. Looks pretty damned tasty to me.

I would always get it with cheese and tomatoes added. Once I requested a second chicken patty as well. It was awesome.

Why? He doesn't run barefoot in the book. And the person who does is looked upon with disbelief by the other runners.

Completely disagree on the statement "you don't need to know your major." I was one of the undecideds in college, and yes, I got two degrees, but I could have done better.

True, but I don't think it's an incorrect statement. Running magazines pander to advertisers, and that's shoe companies. And I know he does the lecture circuit and does the barefoot running, etc...but, so what? I'm going to begrudge the guy for making a buck because he found something that works for him? People

As a runner, when I started I went to the athletic shoe store. They assessed my gait, announced "you're heavy" and gave me fat guy shoes. I got patellar tendinitis and shin splints.

I have nothing but the utmost respect for those who can think like this, but my mind can't do that. Inevitably my head says "it's a bubble, an expanding bubble"…and what's outside the bubble? No idea, I'm inside the bubble.

Isn't this the type of decision making that makes me eat the entire box of oreos? I approve.
