The change was going from analog broadcasts to digital broadcasts. Older televisions couldn't process digital. But over the air (OTA, or bunny ears) still exists and it's what I use in the States, along with Netflix and Amazon streaming. Free is good.

Currently I use Runkeeper on my iPhone. I agree with another comment that battery life can be an issue, but the fact remains that I'm not running without a phone on me. If I'm going to be carrying it anyway, might as well put it to use. And it's better carried on my arm than in a pocket.

Just to be clear, I don't believe Romney is being truthful either, I think he agrees with the no exceptions platform. Basically if you think abortions should be legal, even if only under very limited exceptions, then you can't vote Republican.

He ran, and it took him 20 minutes to go a mile. He didn't say how far he actually ran. Based on the time he probably ran ten steps.

What Romney says is irrelevant. The Party platform is now officially NO EXCEPTIONS. And the President doesn't make laws.

Thanks for posting this...going back and forth on who should I donate to, Democratic Party or PP...this probably clinches it for me.

For live theater, I recommend sitting towards the back, lower or mid level, and centered. I find it distracting to sit too close because makeup is often heavily applied, and can look quite harsh when viewed closely. Also, less chance of you getting pulled up on stage/getting wet/covered in watermelon chunks. Ah,

The bad guys are supposed to be so technologically superior and yet this little rogues gallery (that totally reminds you of the French Underground from Top Secret) go and destroy all of their bases and don't even bother to use the advanced weaponry...they're going in with their crap guns, all 6 of them, and just

Christ, I saw Star Wars at a drive in theater. It was like the x-wings were flying off the screen and into the star-kissed sky behind the screen. A phenomenal moment in my childhood.

It's a mess, kind of like playing Where's Waldo. Finding a comment requires going through all the threads, it's like starting from square one each time.

So let me get this straight. Lance Armstrong retired from racing, free and clear. Then he decided to run the Tour again, but in doing so opened himself to new scrutiny by USADA, which included resetting the statute of limitations for his earlier wins (which USADA was not in charge of at the time). Is this right?

Faux wood!

Someone needs a nap....and some Visine. Amazon has a health and beauty section, so you're in luck.

Was just thinking of this this morning. Amazon could make their own phone, create a pay as you go plan so they don't need their own network, and sell it for a loss or little profit. They'd be pulling market share away from Apple and getting more people using Amazons AppStore, Kindle, etc...

It was vibrate I've turned off. I'd keep my phone in my pocket and I would started experiencing phantom vibrations...thinking there was a call when there wasn't one.

If I could find mine, I would wear it.

I think that's where we're at, and Guvnor Yeehah!! is okay with that. He promised to make up for the loss of federal funds so that he could do it his way, but never said how...and likely won't.

I've certainly never had a problem. Ladies seem to like it just fine.
