Ha ha! These photos actually made me laugh more than anything...there's something desperate about most of them, not a showy this is who I am vibe, but rather a look what I'm holding/where I am vibe. Kind of a desperate clinginess. Smells like new, transitory wealth.

I was a little kid (maybe 7, maybe less...I was born in 1972). My mom worked with the Department of Education in Hawaii. She took me to a classroom at the UH lab school, a testing ground for educational materials used in the public schools there. We went into a room that had an Apple computer. I vividly remember

It opened to a 30 second ad, so I turned it off. My loss, I guess.

So we're having our third child, and then we're done. The question becomes which method is best (and safest) to prevent future pregnancies.

I don't get it, I don't like it. Having a comment thread vertical allows a free flow of ideas...you can refer to something that wasn't on the same thread and everyone will still be on the same page, because literally you are on the same page. When you set it up so that comment threads are isolated, you end up with a

Can't you just take calcium and vitamin D at different times of day to avoid this problem?

I do not like this one bit. One of my favorite things to do is find an article where everyone starts sharing their personal anecdotes...except now I can't go down the list to read them, I've got to turn pages. And when I'm turning pages I can't easily go back or forth to look at earlier or later comments.

I don't think these are "new" endings, I suspect these are the endings that were meant to be in place. I think they just ran out of time. If anything is new it would be the Refusal ending, which I could argue is the best ending of all. My Shepard doesn't like jumping through hoops.

This is like the Directors Cut....footage they had but maybe didn't have in time for the release date. However, that footage makes a big difference in how people feel about the game. I'm glad they decided to release it.

Ha! Primary Colors. I liked that movie.

It was an incredibly sloppy way of ending the series, but what's done is done. The ending itself is a disaster...more footage can't improve it, it's like being offered the Directors Cut of that horrible movie where John Travolta was a Klingon or something and...no, don't name it!! You give it power when you name it!!

I kind of like that it defaults to the Facebook email. That way Facebook remains somewhat of a closed system, and doesn't fill up my personal email.

That's a beautiful cake. For a second I thought the elephants were supposed to be walking in a circle, but no, they actually do just stand in place. Seems like they should be walking in a circle though.

I've been to this article as least half a dozen times and have yet to read a word of it. But that mirror image pic...just fantastic. Well done, you.

With our first child I asked the pediatrician about a delayed immunization schedule. She said "we don't do that, all kids are on the same schedule.". I said okay, life went on. Yes, once or twice there were four shots. Our kid didn't cry less or more as a result. In retrospect the doctor was right, better to have

Just purchased cybersquattersarethescumofthee....com!

How about just selling soft drinks by the oz., rather than doubling the size for every 10 cents?

...so why does it bother me that no one is wearing gloves?

Dear Ms. McCarthy: Your child missing Mr. Carrey is like my child missing a teacher or babysitter. He is not the father, you two broke up, time for you to move on. He was dating you, not your son.

I'm just wondering why they bothered. Why not just start from scratch? The Munsters was all about the Munster not being aware of how horrifying they were to everyday people. If it's switched to a drama, I'm guessing they're now all too aware of how they're viewed. To me, that's a completely different show.
