Is this a good sandwich bread? I love freshly baked bread, but if the outside crust is too hard it makes for miserable sandwich bread (especially when you have little kids). Any suggestions or recipes would be appreciated.

Ow! Cavity!

Why does it make me nauseous that someone will make a fortune based on my information?

You could also try Michael Caine in A Shock to the System.

I run, and totally love this case.

I read about the injection method in Wired magazine a few months back. Compared to a vasectomy it sounds like a little slice of Heaven.

They need a giant "Applause" sign to flash at the appropriate times...and not just for the crowd, for the announcers, and quite possibly the tv audience as well.

I'm a dad and have two daughters under the age of four, both of whom apparently can open any door in the house at any time. As a result in the house I have become a serial sitter when it comes to the potty. Because, good Lord, I do not need my little girls trying to emulate daddy.

My dentist is very vocal about how you want the softest toothbrush you can find. He says that people live longer now, and in older patients he can actually see groove marks from where they brush. Also, being too rough can damage gums, and gums don't grow back once they've receded. He encourages regular brushing and

That was my first thought as well...along with the tattoo discussion between Nobby and Colon (forget which book that is).

He's also lost, like, a hundred pounds and runs marathons now.

Oh, no...The Price is Right was the place for the truly beautiful women of game shows. This is still true today.

I just signed up for the premium account on Spotify, so I'm in the 30 day free period. It's certainly fun to play with and have, but I'm starting to wonder whether I should just be buying the mp3 singles instead. At 10/month, that's 120 songs a year. And with Amazon doing 5 dollar albums every month...geez...

...then it's up to the workers and/or the government to demand better working conditions. But I'm over here, in the USA...and here's the conundrum. If they improve pay/conditions significantly, then all of a sudden those jobs come back to the US and those factories do, in fact, shut down.

Just like trick or treating, my friend. You go through the goodie bag before they get anything. We take away the candy and dole it out over time. That's my job as parent. Am I letting her have candy after cake and punch? Hells no. Do I care if they're upset that I've commandeered their candy and am doling it out

Well, here's my problem. If the factory goes away, what do these people do then? And if these people leave the job, how quickly is that position filled? Let's be clear: working in a coal mine is no fun either, but the job exists and people do it because it's an improvement over the alternative.

That's not a bad idea...I do like Spotify. They still have ads at the 10 dollar membership though, which I find annoying. But I think between Netflix streaming and Amazon Prime I'm decent for streaming content, so maybe just consider it movie rental money. Hmm....

I just cancelled the dvd portion today...kept the streaming. Any suggestions as to where I should move the 10-12/month? Hulu, maybe? Somewhere else? Maybe just ice cream for the family?

Skyrim, but I feel like Homer Simpson during the steak eating contest.

Maybe I only just now turned into a dinosaur. She's four, she doesn't ask. All she knows is she's been told a secret and has to tell someone, anyone, right away.
