Really? Haven’t you seen the auto-play previews for their new show “Flinch” or something like that where people get physically punished if they flinch??

No one even slightly left of center would ever call for mandatory National Service (which Buttigieg has suggested) so either your friend doesn’t know much about Mayor Pete, or he’s not really a “leftist.”

Welcome to America. Have you seen the show? There are people who literally have closets and closets full of clothes with the tags still on - never worn - that they then get rid of because they won’t/can’t wear them now. Or how about the guy with hundreds of pairs of high end sneakers he’s *never even tried on* and

😂 I haven’t seen that one before but it brought this to mind:

Have you SEEN any of the clothes he & his “fashion icon” wife wear and hawk?!? Neither one of them have any sense of aesthetics and are a pure example of The Emperor’s New Clothes.

I understood where you’re coming from & agree... you might be interested in my explanation here (in response to one of the people calling you out as if you were saying something wrong): https://film.avclub.com/1829959058

The issue as I see it isn’t really that it’s a “slight” to either homosexuals or bisexuals, it’s that bisexuals are consistently erased from history based on who they happen to be dating/married to (at the end of their lives, especially). Which is a bullshit way to try and “define” someone’s orientation because it’s

Being attracted to men and women, no matter which you tend to date more of, is bisexual. Saying someone who identified as bisexual & left his house when he died to his essentially common-law wife from years previous “was gay, not bi” IS BI ERASURE.

Ugh. There’s actually a male doctor from Denmark who was invited by Columbia University to speak *this weekend* (for continuing education credits for conference attendees) whose whole schtick is basically: if he can’t see a physical reason for a disease (and surprise, surprise, the majority on his list predominantly

Exactly. This is what stood out so starkly to me as well. Especially when it comes to “women’s” diseases, it can take decades to be diagnosed, and often by then the condition is past the point of no return, into just pain management territory. Yet another example of how our society would be better off if we would

Seriously. Rihanna makes some highly questionable fashion choices occasionally, but she’s so gotdamn gorgeous she short circuits the critical brain cells.

When someone is in the midst of a manic episode, it looks (& sounds) just like they’re high on boatloads of coke (which is why many bipolar people don’t take their meds - they love how they feel invincible during the manic episodes).

The CGI budget would be off the charts if they went with that casting🤣

This is a Netflix production - box office revenue is irrelevant😒

That or Matt Damon.”

Yup. Because lordt knows a leading lady can’t be darker than her leading man...🤨

I read Crews is 6'2" - John Henry is 6'6" (he's not only a giant in strength but stature as well). Crews is intimidating but he doesn't tower over people...

admittedly, Terry Crews is a bit short for the role (and he's more of a comedic than dramatic actor), but still a better choice than The Rock (and I love them both).

That was my thought too.  Even Terry Crews would be a better choice than The Rock.
