I think highly of the entertainer.

Same to you and yours.

Next week's challenge: A spoonerism is when you change the initial consonant sounds of two words in a phrase to get a new phrase. For example, "Tames Jailer" is a spoonerism of the singer James Taylor. "Spark Mitts" is a spoonerism of the swimmer Mark Spitz. The name of what famous entertainer — first and last names —

Y'all know who didn't call me? Puzzlemaster Will Shortz. The answer to his little puzzle is "Santa Fe" and "Manta Ray."

What do you want a meaning for? Life is a desire, not a meaning. - Charlie Chaplin (16 April 1889 – 25 December 1977)

Whoo-hoo! "Rachel Ray Every Day" for $3.75!

The way to get things done is not to mind who gets the credit for doing them. - Benjamin Jowett (15 April 1817 – 1 October 1893)

Yeah, I'm proud to be a coal miner's daughter
I remember well, the well where I drew water
The work we done was hard
At night we'd sleep 'cause we were tired
I never thought of ever leaving Butcher Holler

Question with boldness even the existence of a god; because, if there be one, he must more approve of the homage of reason, than that of blindfolded fear. - Thomas Jefferson (April 13, 1743 – July 4, 1826)

Bangs are a versatile hairstyle.

I wear bangs to give the illusion that there's a forehead there, so most people don't know. My brother, though, shaves his head and just deals with it.

Jesters, which are a kind of clown, have always been scary, too.

I have the opposite issue, low forehead. Please don't beat me up!

Aw man. Thank you for the good thoughts.

I think I want such a calendar. In 2016 I had "Men Who Bern" which featured cute, hipsterish, Bernie bros. Since I'm middle-aged, a lot of these men looked like guys my son would hang with, but it was fun.

Thank you, SS.

I will, Stevie! You're a Wonder!

Thank you, Shugah. Pop had, and beat, breast cancer in 2011. He's had COPD for many years now (as did my stepmother, who died in 2008). Due to the already fraught state of his lungs, the cancer couldn't be treated aggressively, it's been about keeping him comfortable.

Thank you, PJ

Thanks, MS.
