My husband and I had a Japanese Plum tree we called Bernie. Sadly, it died. Its nameless replacement, however, is thriving.

My husband recently discovered a live album by those guys. He really likes it. I don't hate it, but just barely.

On Friday, my husband got more scoop (the men's locker room was a hub of info in the early a.m.), apparently the FBI was brought in. The phone system had been hacked, so it seemed like the calls were coming from inside the facility. None of that was in the general "to all members" email I got Thursday.

Our JCC is open to all (we're not Jewish), and has preschool, services for adults, including senior citizens, etc.

Yeah, making the White Supremacists look bad! What if his grandchildren by his beloved daughter went to preschool at one of those JCCs? What would he say then?

No shit. I realize there may be privacy issues concerning the injured (and we knew up front that none were life-threatening), but surely someone is willing to share their story. Or let us know, without giving the child's name, how the one-year-old is faring.

Over the weekend, I posted that the Uptown (New Orleans) JCC where my husband and I exercise had a bomb threat and was evacuated on Thursday of last week. So, it was a few days ahead of the numerous threats on Monday. Y'all, what is WRONG with people?
