Ho ho, the Fort Wayne Comets. (Grew up there, so it’s funny to see our little league hockey team compete in dodge ball. It’s an Indiana past time!) O_o

I know a lot of people are on the “delete Facebook” train, but for those of us who enjoy using it to keep in touch with what our families and distant friends are up to, that’s not going to happen. But messenger - never used it, never will.

I really like PoE. It’s gorgeous and compelling, but I couldn’t finish it. (Perhaps I’m spoiled by BG/BG2/IWD and FO/FO2 dynamics - I got used to those settings after 20+ replays.) Relearning and digesting the combat dynamic was tedious, and the resting dynamic didn’t balance well with me - but that was shortly after

It’s nearing 300k atm. It’s Obsidian - they’ll surely exceed their goal by leaps and bounds.

I recently finished building my dream machine - so it’s Witcher 3 GotY edition. :D

That looks like the original FO1 cover art - makes me want to load it up and playthrough. (Though, I think any version would suffice.)

I was able to sign up for the course, but was presented with a notification as I tried to start the modules...

A pleasant /bump in the “You may also like” banner. Most of the games missed in the original article have been covered, and the comments have been a nostalgic trip down memory lane!

So, what’s the big deal? Someone at CNN was probably a FO fan, and thought it would be funny to slip this in. (Who would’a thunk it, an easter egg in the news?)

I started doing technical and IT support in 1997 (as a career, in several industries) beginning with DOS based systems (with LANtastic networks, FUN!) up until now with Win10 desktop support. I’d say the statistics are pretty close.

For the record, I am self-taught. I tease my mom that playing all those PC games in

I did not see it coming, and I’m glad that I didn’t. Granted, I didn’t follow any previous articles, spoilers, or discussions online because I wanted to be surprised. My wife and I discussed our theories between ourselves, but that was the extent of it. I most certainly enjoyed the experience.

I used to be sporting the 6-pack back in my military days and for quite some time after that. I’m edging very closely to 50 and not as active, but I can still feel those muscles up underneath the fluff that’s now prominent at my mid-line. So I still have a 6-pack under there, but I call it my “6-pack and a Pizza”

I thought, Patrick Swayze..?

A lot of threads to read, so forgive me if I restate something that’s already been said. I doubt the establishment will just let cheeto jesus walk into their political arena and accomplish shit on his own. If he presents anything that isn’t in their interest, they’ll bury it. And he’ll be their rubber stamp.

Wasteland was hella fun when it first came out. I loved the chant as we passed through the church. NRC! NRC! NRC!

I noticed Wasteland 3 on the website through your link. Stoked!

I’m still on the fence on FO4, based on professional and player reviews. Based on those reviews, I’m not really feeling it. I’ve played every other - FO1, FO2, FO Tactics, FO3, New Vegas, Shelter. With the exception of Tactics, I thoroughly enjoyed the games. (Tactics wasn’t bad, but playing in turn-based mode was

I have found a winning approach to interruptions:
Hold up a hand, sagely in my demeanor, and say, “Please, let me finish.” Depending on the situation, I may add “we can discuss this in more depth in just a moment” I always use “please”.

Thankfully, I am no longer in a position where I am required to hold meetings -
