Holy shit, what a goddamn catastrophe of a post.

Someone needs to learn the difference between ‘bigger numbers’ and ‘bigger percentages’.

Yes, men get harassed in larger numbers BECAUSE THERE ARE MORE OF YOU ON THE INTERNET.

Women get harassed in larger percentages because even showing our faces in your male-dominated conclaves opens us up to a higher number of

Troll trolling a guy: “You suck.”

I’ve been a dude on the internet since 1992. There is no point in the last 25 years that I’ve experienced anything close to the shit women get.

Nope. Not even close. I am a man who is frequently online and I have never and will never face the kind of harassment women do.

I really like the show, but its fandom is one of the worst I’ve ever seen. A bunch of people seem to think that the show endorses Rick’s behavior and philosophy and...no, it realllllly doesn’t.

There’s a pretty famous bible named after him, what’d you expect?

How about the end credits... as someone who works in the industry I think its a slap in the face that they just decide to not only a) squeeze the end credits into a tiny unreadable 1/8th of the screen, while they advertise all the other shows you’re sure to love and b) they only let that 1/8th square stay up for maybe

When the third season of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt came out, I was outraged that they put the Skip Intro button in that show. The opening credits are perfect, and put you right in the mood to watch the show.

I’m shocked and amazed too. Along with Review, which as the article pointed out was a glaring omission, and I think Andy Daly should have got a nomination for Best Actor too.

As mentioned above, I don’t know why Legion and American Gods are nowhere to be seen.

The category isn’t mentioned here but I don’t understand how Michael Mckean didn’t get a nomination for Best Supporting Actor (Drama), Jonathan Banks nabbed one (despite having far less screen time) which makes me think this will be make up win for him.

Criminally overlooked: Legion...it’s a damn crime it wasn’t nominated for something!

This is as good a week place as any to leave this. I’ve been reading the AV Club for close to ten years. This new site is a travesty. I may return if things improve but for now, farewell.

143 million people sounds suspiciously like every working person in America. So it’s pretty much everybody.

Yeah, I’m thinking they go with 20 somethings and if that’s a hit, then on to the true “adults” as they were in the book/miniseries.

To me he gave the only even passable adult performance in that film. Tim Curry is rightly remembered as amazing, and some of the kids were ok, but the adults mostly sucked.

I don’t think anyone younger than Gex X is used to $180 cable bills. Which makes me wonder what will happen if streaming services crackdown on password sharing (Hulu already blocks VPNs, right?).

At some point, someone is going to make a service that consolidates all your subscribed streaming services into one user interface, and then charge $10/month for that service too.

This. If it’s got a full library, sure I’ll pay $10 or whatever a month. I’m a 90s kid with a toddler, we’ll get a lot of use out of it. But if it, like Netflix, has a lot of Mulan 2, Tarzan 2, etc and no Lion King, no way.
