Agreed. Leaving it at a knowing smile would have given the audience a nice inside joke with Pam and I felt it was ruined by having her directly tell us what the joke was. I actually cringed at that talking head and thought: now why did you have to go and do that?

I haven't seen the Hunger Games movie yet. Does it follow the book's convention of showing everything through Katniss' point of view? Because the reader is just told, rather than shown, half of the important plot points in Mockingjay, because they occur while the narrator is unconscious in the hospital or sobbing away…

Assuming you're referring to the game labeled Final Fantasy III in North America (FFVI is Japan), that game is my favorite of the series. I still tear up thinking about that ghost train sequence with Cyan and his dead family.
