After owning 2 cars blessed by the presence of an LS7 I would have to disagree, but to each their own. I do agree that swapping an LS for a rotary is sacrilege though, even if it is a better engine in every objective regard. The rotary is just cool as shit and essential to the character of the cars they were in. The

Hey, looking for an ass that sounds like this. Let me know if you run across one.

That’s what the article above explains... Not trying to be a dick but did you read it?

As a Michigan State student during many of said noon games I’d have to agree.

Wish they would have made it optional for the Colorado/Canyon because it would have stopped me from ordering the baby Duramax. That said, are they making the 8 speed available on the 4.3? I was under the impression that it was only spreading to the 5.3 and only on certain trim levels.

LT1 is 465lbs dressed, LS3 is ~415lbs IIRC. DI and the cam mounted HPFP it requires added some heft, as well as AFM and VVT.

No.

T-72 has a 750hp diesel V12, M1 has 1500hp but weighs 20 tons more and has a governor to limit the amount of fun. U.S. military professionalism probably precludes this short of shenanigans from happening but I’d love to see how close they’d come.

Getting to go for a ride-a-long with Johnny O’Connell at the Milford Proving Grounds is one of the highlights of my first 21 years of life. Easily one of the coolest guys I've ever met and a hell of a racecar driver.

I interned at Akebono a few years ago. These seemed to work quite well without drills or slots...

Not to come off as a Camaro fanboy or Mustang hater but minus the CF wheels the Z/28 came with every one of the things highlighted in this article... And while not as cool or effective as those CF wheels at least the Z/28 went with aluminum 19’s over the 20’s on the standard SS and 1LE. Also worth noting, the LS7 is

Tires and downforce to start. TA has a splitter and a modest spoiler like my Z06 while the C7 Z07 has a much larger splitter with endcaps and a large spoiler with a wickerbill. Its not a full blown aero package like a GT3 RS or ACR but it bridges the gap between Viper TA and C6 ZR1 aero bits. As for tires I don’t

This post is very confusing... First a Viper TA is most certainly not similar to a C7 Z07. Maybe a C6 Z07 similar to my Z06 Carbon, but not a C7. Second, what exactly is this “full course” you refer to? If you’re referring to the Grand Course at VIR that time is laughably off. The fastest car Car and Driver has tested

F-22>F-15. F-35>F-16, AV-8B, and legacy Hornet. The only one you could make an argument for is the A-10 and that’s only if we’re talking about CAS in uncontested airspace.

For the record, this was done so they could actually fit the motor. The top mounted intercooler on the ZR1 raised the height of the engine considerably and wouldn’t fit even with the bulge. The plexiglas is thinner than the carbon fiber hood around it. My Z06 Carbon has the same CF hood as the ZR1 but no window

That makes sense, thanks for the response. We avoid using big airports because of the hassle and haven’t really encountered any resistance from “the man.” We’re not complete degenerates, just a couple of harmless J’s on a 2-3 hour flight. The actual act of smoking probably doesn’t last over 20 minutes although I have

I’m 21 years old man... I’ll save the Dom Pérignon for when I’m old and bitter. For now a 24 of Labatt Blue Light and a couple joints is a nice way to get from Detroit to Ft. Lauderdale on the cheap.

Good point. The cockpit door is always closed and the pilots know what we’re doing. They are pretty cool guys, both semi-retired in their late 50s/early 60’s with military and civilian backgrounds. They’ve reminded us a couple times that if they could smell it they would let us know and we’d have to knock it off.

Is it actually against the law? My cousins and I blaze it up on their jet all the time. Although, its not chartered as my uncle maintains hes one of the only people stupid enough to own his own plane and have a full time staff of pilots and maintenance crew.

I’m an unabashed Vette guy, but how can you not like this car? Definitely ticks all the right boxes in terms of hardware. However, as a duty to my company I would be remiss not to suggest these instead of those Bilstein’s (yuck).
