I dialed 911 for the first 3 times in my life this past summer all on drunk drivers. The most messed up part was only once was I was driving past midnight. Macomb county was getting its drink on this year

not a mustang fan but this tickles my ccm brake fetish quite nicely
In general dealership employees have about a 0% chance of working for an OEM. That would require things like a brain and a college degree, very rare things in the automotive sales industry.
Nope, 91 or higher is recommended. And to answer your other post the 1LE is only available on manual transmission SS'. Navigation and backup camera are stand alone options for $495 on the 1SS, but backup camera is standard on 2SS trim level.
I think its worth noting how easy and relatively inexpensive it is to add power to this car, I mean LS3... sbc.. yea. I'm not sure its even necessary but having driven one of these recently it just had SO MUCH GRIP.
1Le doesn't have MRC, only Camaro with it is the ZL1. It uses monotube dampers over the standard SS' twin-tube setup.
Agree with the last part but the GTO uses the Zeta platform same as current Camaro and Chevy SS/Pontiac G8. The last two gens of CTS used the Cadillac exclusive Sigma platform before moving to Alpha for this gen.
The North American market is the most profitable in the world you sound silly. Also I've heard the car will be around 50lbs lighter than current CTS so I doubt it will be anything but competitive in acceleration assuming 400hp combined out of the hybrid system which is a safe bet.
Yea these guys are clueless. The system will likely be combined with some form of radar tracking as well similar to the C7.R system.
Mine came in a calculator. Best $80 I ever spent and they give you 2 of them.
Still bummed about the lack of the 4.3L V6. 300hp and 330ft-lbs on E85 and I cant help but wonder if it would get better mileage than the 3.6 with its AFM (obviously not on E85). In my experience the cars with the high feature V6's dont get their promised mileage while the small blocks generally exceed it.
Thanks Pat, nice to know there are others out there. It's just frustrating watching the new muscle car wars bring out the ignorant fanboy in many of the commenters. Someone in another thread tried to pontificate on how the forthcoming Charger Hellcat would "take the lunch" of the new CTS-V and I recall becoming quite…
no... just no
every time i see the z/28 compared to the gt500 or hellcat in the replies i have to facepalm at what jalopnik readership has become. so much for the informed enthusiasts of old, it is almost motortrend bad these days some of you are truly that clueless
second pic is kinda grainy but it shows an Envision "T" or Envision Turbo in Buick parlance which i assume would mean a 2.0 turbo 4, possible reference to that sleeper 2.0 line
Buick Envision? (slots between Encore and Enclave)
have little to no sympathy for the struck driver although I hope he rests in peace. the racetrack is no place to whine and bitch about an on track incident, save that for the pits or the local bar. Idk who taught this guy how to race but my father taught me if you get out of the car for any reason you get the fuck off…
perhaps not but the 4,450lbs weight is for the challenger hellcat which gained 250lbs over its srt 392 little brother. assuming a similar gain for the charger and youre looking at a 4,600lbs+ sedan. so now its a 400-500lbs difference with the caddy easily winning in the traction department with wider rubber and far…
the v in the video had carbon ceramics so it'll actually lose weight in the brakes department, wheels and tires will add weight despite being forged as you noted, MR shocks are pretty heavy but the v-sport has them too so a wash there as well, LT4 will probably be lighter than LF3 because you know less…
considering the current k2xx trucks weigh less than the current non-aluminum fords, and the mythical 700lbs weight loss is just that, a myth, i believe the current stable of GM trucks will be far more competitive against the new f-150 than many people think. especially with the new 8spd coming
