Seriously, as a woman I spend enough time not feeling thin enough. I just do not have any fucks left to give when it comes to my eyebrows. As long as hairs aren’t meeting in the middle and they generally fall in the same direction, I’m happy. Plus, I LIKE the full brow look. I thought we learned our lesson in the 90s…

FUCK NO. My eyebrows were thick before they were in and they are going to stay that way. I pluck what have to to keep them neat. That is it. That will always be it. I have VERY Strong Feelings on this matter. End of Rant.

Absolutely, I don’t think I would ever do it.

I think it’s fine as long as you trust the other person to be kind enough in the event of a break up to return it.  Normally gifts don’t have to be returned, but family keepsakes absolutely must be.

I saw it on Broadway with Billie Joe playing St. Jimmy.  It blew my high school brain away.  I think the show is also one of the few examples where some of the arrangements are actually improvements on the originals (Letterbomb being the prime example).

Oh, man that’s rough. I hope they were decent coworkers outside of that! It’s funny how such tiny physical changes can completely change people’s interpretations of the words we’re saying. 

It depends on the accent, but most Americans pronounce the ‘a’ in France quite a bit differently than the ‘a’ in ‘bath’ or ‘grass’. In “France”, it’s higher in the mouth and more nasal, I think because of the ‘n’. We say ‘ants’ with the same sound. ‘bath and ‘grass’ are a more proper ‘a’ sound, like ‘apple’.

I think it’s the hard, nasal ‘a’s. We hit them harder than most languages, and I’m the first to admit nasal sounds are annoying. It’s my main objection to Justin Timberlake and most pop singers.

Yeah I think this just reflects the ubiquity of iPhones. A more interesting study would be on what brands wealthy people disproportionately use if the products cost the same. For example, I know Coca-Cola people are more well-off than Pepsi people. Is kikkoman on the list because that’s the brand most people buy…

I agree - these are the conversations we all need to be having with the men in our lives. Nothing changes if we just all shout into the echo chamber.

I agree completely with this interpretation. I really like his comedy, but I understand it isn’t for everyone - and he has certainly had his missteps. I’m bothered by everyone on this thread saying he’s a piece of shit and Amber Tamblyn should leave him. I have no idea what their relationship is like, but just going…

He has to know he just changed the entire tone of his legacy.
