oh my god it was a joke...
I’m going with H: Redheads are too smart to sign up for The Bachelor.
I think we agree. That’s what I meant by “I took it as she couldn’t be where she is today if she had had kids”.
I took it as she couldn’t be where she is today if she had had kids. Which is true. I think it was a statement about her career, personally - I don’t think she meant women can’t be successful if they have kids.
they make her earlobes look ginormous.
Exactly! I mean, if that is her way of dealing with her grief, than that is fine. But, I know a lot of religious people feel pressure to push down negative feelings because they feel they should always praise god and try to see the things in their life as part of ‘Him’ and his love, etc. I hope that isn’t what is…
In the early 2000s? nope.
Huh. If money really is that tight it is incredibly sad (not that it wouldn’t be otherwise). The thing that hit me the wrong way was her tweet. Admittedly, I’m an atheist, but it seems so awful to me that she has to be positive and thankful to god when she is sharing such devastating news.
there’s a GoFundMe page?
I didn’t mean fascinating in the admiration sense, I meant fascinating in a psychological sense. I find it interesting that someone would be able to be flexible with their convictions over a sustained period of time. Fascinating doesn’t mean I like or admire the person, just that I find them interesting.
I don’t know, she’s had quite a few opportunities for that to happen already (like her ‘vacation’ following the trump debate last summer). I suspect she is playing the long game... the really long game (and laughing all the way to the bank in the meantime).
I agree. But she knows she’d be ousted by Fox if she ‘came out’. She really is fascinating. I’m hoping we get a pull-no-punches tell-all from her one day. She must have a lot of stories.
Doesn’t matter. The party is moving left. Obama started it and the support of Sanders, someone who is so left he shouldn’t have a snowball’s chance in hell, shows that people are moving even further left. We are playing the long game, and the long game is going left. The atlantic has a really good piece about it in…
Amen!
Even if it does, it will move the conversation and it will show that democrats are done screwing around on this issue. It makes it more likely that the next president or congress can make a permanent change. Or, if it gets fought in a legal sense, it could make its way to the Supreme Court and we can get a ruling…
As long as it is totally legal, I fully support executive action in this matter. The time for Congress to act passed after they did nothing in reaction to Sandy Hook. I hope he does it and I’m enjoying this senior-itisy Obama.
