@shockaslim: True but we r a bunch of nerds having fun. Just because we each have our own tastes doesn't mean we have to be rude and only pick on the bad things of each platform/ phone.

@my name is jonas: Flash was off. We didn't botheoading on demand because it's unfair with iPhone not even displaying c

@my name is jonas: Nope. For the sake of fairness we turned it off. We really tried out best to make it a fair fight.

@casperiv: It was off because iPhone doesn't support flash so we did all that we could and were aware of to make it a fair fight c

@PoG: I'm not really arguing it just sharing a fun observation me and a few friends had while watching a red sox game is all. Nothing serious just thought it would be fun and interesting to share

@Arbron: As i said to someone else it wasn't a humiliating difference between them. To be honest We found it to be a close race. Though it was most noticeable running apps. iPhone 4 seemed peppeir and the frame rates seemed better to our naked eyes.

@JAlexoid: With froyo on both devices. , was surprised that it beat it to be quite honest but it did over wifi and 3G. Doesn't really say much. A 3 - 5 second difference isn't enough to claim vast superiority over another devie.

@fysician: Yes both did. That was the basis of our little tests. Cleared cache and all. We wanted to pit the newest os versions against one another. It wasn't a crushing defeat, maybe a 3-5 second difference depending on the page. It seemd as if the ads were having a harder time loading on android.

@I'm@work,shhhhh.: Yes. The nexus had it from an update, the eve had it from an sd card update.

Reguardless of the results my iPhone 4 still loads pages faster than my friends evo and my other friends nexus one over wifi and 3G.

@yah5: Why are you your so bitter about this?

Ehhh!! Why not? It's an exhibition after all and he's a gadget geek like any of us. It's good to study and understand your competition. I commend him for taking time to analyze, scrutinize, and appreciate a fellow competitors gadget.

@TragicManner: maybe so, but fourth place is rough to be in from a corporate perspective. The number 3 position is considered the "under dog" spot, #4 is sorta sad.

The big 4 have it wayyy to easy and it's no longer much of a challenge for them to gouge us on our bill. Something needs to be done indeed!

I love the whole "fast as 4G" claim. I find it pathetic to claim 4G-like while using 3G technology. It's Just tasteless and a good reason they are the #4 carrier.

I tried this and on my friends my touch slide kept getting "force close" error. Had to switch back to regular keyboard input.

OMFG! finally at 8:40 pm i was finally able to order and get an order number off of the apple website. I literally tried 36 times throughout the day starting this monring at work at 7am ET. I have a paper where i marked down every try, just because i thought it would be interesting to see how how many tries it took.

wow! just when you thought it was 2010 and no one used carbon paper receipts anymore along comes good ol' at&t.

@denisnossevitch: GOOOAALLLLL!!!! (continue screaming for 6 minutes with one single breath!) OALLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!
