Like, the survey says “12 percent don’t think they’ve heard the word ‘holocaust’ before”, but 90% think the holocaust happened ... so there is some percentage of people who have no idea what the word holocaust…

Your friends and relatives backing up a story you are telling does not make anything about what you are saying credible. I suppose it’s better than them calling you a filthy liar, but it’s completely meaningless as far as enhancing your accusations’ credibility.
