I think it gets better. I loved it, though not as much as The Corrections. After finishing it I definitely think Walter and Patty Berglund are one of my favorite literary couples.

I've been waiting to see what he would look like. I think he resembles him pretty well but I won't make any conclusions until I've actually seen the film. In that first picture though it does look like he just ate some mold. Hal Incandenza style.
