You are 100% correct. And although the C8 is spectacular, I would go with that yellow C6 any old day. With three pedals please. And I am frightfully old.

Yeah, screw all of you. Sure, Boomers are just an ancient bunch of disproportionately wealthy shmucks. But at least we had a life with loud, sorta fast, and highly unsafe cars. Unreliable too. But we gave you Cobras, 911s, The Beatles, computers and a National Debt that’ll never quit. Plus pollution, don’t forget the

Since I am incredibly knowledgeable and my memory is still sharp as a tack, how come I’ve never heard of this?  And they made 136 of these babies?  You’re making this up, right?

At our Blackhawk Museum (Danville, CA) Cars and Coffee we had a BMW owner get on it for the photographers. The car turned hard left and jumped a substantial median into the oncoming lanes. Luckily there were no cars over there so this asshat wound up in the Safeway parking lot. It’s on YouTube.

I had a ‘94 850 Turbo sedan. It went like stink. Great torque, awesome brakes. Then I had a shifter problem and a burnt-out turbo. Next was a burnt valve. So much for vaunted Volvo reliability. Parts are decidedly not cheap. You gotta lot of miles there....

I have had two S2000s, a 2001 Silverstone and currently a 2005 New Formula Red. This is not a “crack pipe” price but just a bit too strong with the miles. Here in CA it is very hard to find an unmodified, well cared for S2000 NOT on a salvage title. So if this one fits the criteria it’s not far off. In general values

The ultimate resto-mod. The level of design, craftsmanship and performance in a Singer is already off the charts. Add a Williams engine (no turbos please!) and the desirability factor is simply not comprehensible. The way the air-cooled 911 market is headed, this could possibly be a relative bargain. Wait...did I say

That “of” and “have” thing bugs the crap outta me. I wasn’t gonna say anything so thanks. So wrong on Jalopnik...

I would have no hesitation about acting like an asshole in those Chevy ads. I mute them if it’s live TV and fast-forward if recorded. GM’s assumption of general public stupidity is so irritating...wait, didn’t some other entity recently assume widespread lack of intelligence? And was correct? Hmmmm....never mind.
