But Thanos never did attack New York in the movie...
There will likely be some sort of ties. There were rumors that a version of Ant-Man’s daughter in an ant-suit was spotted on the Avengers 4 set. Some were speculating that there is a time jump for Avengers 4 and she becomes an Avenger, just like in the comics. Would seem strange if there is absolutely no lead up in…
I think they did something respectable with it. The movie doesn’t have a happy ending, but it has a conclusion. It just doesn’t fit the mold of your typical action blockbuster where the good guys win. The good guys lose, and Thanos retires. The casualties are huge, but the stakes are gone.
Whatever happened to ‘the madder Hulk gets, the stronger Hulk gets.’
Well, they’re planning to make a Black Widow movie, so that’s a little less likely. They could always set it in the past, but that would be a little less appealing if everyone knew she was dead in the current timeline.
Shitty dives don’t even have ginger ale...they just put equal parts Coke & Sprite.
give your barkeep a nod
Wow, this take is so, so bad. Leading up to and through the 2014 WC, Klinsmann had one of the best (if not the best) record of an American coach, ever. The team was also playing consistently tougher competition month in an month out.
Unsatisfying answers.
Wasn’t it a disguised news chopper?
I agree. I personally really enjoyed IM3. As for the major complaints against it (kid was annoying, Mandarin red herring was a let down, RDJ barely wears the suit), I didn’t mind any of those things at all.
The Force Awakens only made $125mil in China. $40 mil is a pretty big difference, so I wonder why it did so poorly compared to in all the other markets.
The presentation idea is actually pretty great, a since it A) adds a small punitive measure to the disrespectful entry, and B) would allow the presentation of material (via the kid) that is not approved by the school board for the teacher to present.
This is a good take. I’m not a teacher, but I would be thrilled if a student challenged my lesson in an earnest or respectful way and demonstrated legitimate intellectual curiosity. While the message is legitimate, the tone is very disrespectful for a 3rd grader.
The miniseries approach is right on point. If a book is a runaway success, leave room to continue the story. Sometime in the last 10-15 years, the big 2 already started plotting out stories in 4-7 issue arcs in order to sell TPBs.

Luke abandons his friends?
I imagine he’ll be back. He’s a pretty big name for a relatively small (but important) role. Maybe Ep.9 opens with Finn tracking him down for payback or a shot at redemption.
To each their own opinions, but I take issue this part:
