Being civil, turning the other cheek, staying respectful, etc. are elements of the same, naive, ridiculous aspiration of the Left: as long as we stay true to our values, advocate for equality, and stay civil, everything will turn out in our favor because we were the better person.

The most powerful form of protest is with your wallet. Even these fascist goons will listen when the money stops flowing in. Don’t stay at Trump hotels (who thafuq would do that?) but more importantly, choose to shun companies that CHOOSE to do business with this administration.

If Democrats are responsible for Family Separation because it is the result of their implementation of a Family Detention policy because Republicans couldn’t stop themselves from escalating the policy in a manner that it was not intended, Then:

I remember talking about how frustrating it was during the campaign to not have a side fighting for amnesty. Don’t get me wrong; I don’t mind want this as a “both sides” point. Trump was and is obviously in a different league.
