Astrology can provide insight on all kinds of people & situations. I don’t think it’s snooping at all. If someone doesn’t want to tell you what time they were born, they can just say they don’t know.

“The test of a first-rate intelligence is the ability to hold two opposed ideas in mind at the same time and still retain the ability to function.” - F. Scott Fitzgerald😂
It does actually work - at least in profiling personality (horoscope writers go a little nuts). You’re probably just doing it wrong.
As a Leo - sag + scorp ... I’m just bossy.
Unfortunately, you’re right... Enjoy being alone. I study astrology and it is so difficult to find someone compatible astrologically or otherwise. I think the more we nitpick, about whatever; the worse off we are and the more likely we will end up alone. We should just try and enjoy life and what it has to offer.
This just reminded me, once I went on a date with a guy and he told me he got paid to do astrology readings for people but he’d do mine for free because I was so interesting. Okay. So I told him my birthday and he proceeded to tell me that people will think they like who I “seem to be” but once they get to know me…
Ohhhh, hush now. I don’t believe in it, yet swear to god it works and I don’t know why bc it is not possible. I’d have been much better off taking to heart what my (Gemini sun, Taurus rising) compatibility with my ex-husband (Capricorn sun, I think Aquarius rising) suggested. Disaster in exactly the predicted ways…
I am all about it. I will enquire birth facts of all my closest friends. However, it is meant to better understand your partner and how you may be communicating with them, not to be stupid and say things like “I could never date a Scorpio.” I am a Cancer sun with a Libra moon and Gemini rising, which is my…
...that’s not how astrology works
Except not. I believe it has a lot to do with someone’s personality. It doesn’t make you who you are, because how you were raised influences that a lot. But to say there aren’t consistencies with people’s charts and their behaviors just tells me you aren’t well versed, or aren’t that in tune with how personalities…
She waffles on vaccines and has stated Wifi may harm kids. At minimum very embarrassing for someone with a doctorate from Harvard medical school. If you’re a medical doctor and take those kinds of stances, I want no part of you.
Tell me, how is it back in 1994?
There is variation over the Earth’s surface but overall, the vast majority of the planet is warming. A few isolated places are actually cooling, but there’s extremely small compared to the rest of the planet.
While I find an actual (wooden) hanger more interesting than KJ or GH, let’s not gloss over the fact that Claudia Schiffer stomped down the runway like a goddamned Clydesdale. The fucked up runway walk is nothing new.
A friend of mine suggested this 20+ years ago: it was the height of the waif and heroin-chic (which sounds so crazy). the girl were so skeletal, she was like “just get some hangers and a few mannequins and push ‘em down the runway”. I went to a real runway show about 10 years ago. Up close you could see the girls were…
No offense to you because you make great points here but, the history of runway is older than the 90s. It’s changed and mutated and the way of presentation has. The way of doing runway in the 60s had nothing in common with those of the 70s, the 80s or the 90s. That’s how it goes.
SIXTEEN.
Take a look at arctic climate and weather records for the last 20 years and get back to me.
This is how misinformation is spread. You made a jump that no one noticed with the claim that Beth said “Your thesis is that manmade climate change is leading to more and/or more powerful hurricanes “.
One big thing to note is the cherry-picked data: Lomborg’s chart is looking at 20 year aggregates of only hurricanes in the Atlantic that make landfall in the US. If it just hits the Caribbean or peters out into a tropical storm by the time it reaches the mainland, he doesn’t count it.
