What’s absurd is that they already have beautiful HD remasters of FF1, FF2, and FF4 on PSP... and instead of doing the other three games in that style and releasing all six on PC, they are doing SIX remasters that don’t even look as good as the three they have already done!

Completely agree. Lines like “And is firing a gunpowder-propelled restraint the best way...” are clearly meant to elicit an emotional response. It’s a blank cartridge that uses gunpowder because of the concentrated energy available in a small package. Would a compressed air cartridge that reached the same velocity be

Lucas what would you like the police to do when someone is out of control and not listening to your social worker?

Your use of terms like “electronic,” “electric,” and “zapped” is extremely misleading. There’s nothing electronic or electric about this aside from the targeting/launching device. It doesn’t carry an electric charge. It’s not a taser rope.

...except we’re talking about a court case, and proving the opposing party is lying and not trustworthy is a very strong move to help you win.

Again, the issue isn’t the content per se - it’s to undermine the argument of Epic that they operating in good faith and competently.  If Apple can prove that Epic is not, then they have a much smaller hurdle to win.

I think the point here is that if Apple is required to allow other app stores in iOS (like Epic), it opens up their platform to applications they don’t want to allow (like porn stuff.) By arguing that Epic is either tacitly allowing this or is just cluelessly unaware, Apple is saying they shouldn’t be required to

Part of it is accountability. If I download an app on Google Play, then I expect that the owner of the store, Google, to have deemed it to be safe. In that sense, it’s like going to a department store.

So many people are totally missing the point of this legal argument.

Except Apple doesn’t give two fucks about policing morals, they’re simply trying to make a rhetorical point about Epic’s trustworthiness.

Its about getting the VP to contradict himself. They are trying to present the case that Epic lacks QC. They have the VP admitting in the deposition that their store has a “policy” to not allow sexual games. So when pressed on this, the Apply lawyer is hoping:

It should be noted that flight doctors and a variety of other position around flying squadrons wear flight suits. My Air Force spouse wore one for four years and is not a pilot. This is just common sense lol

Is he really stupid enough to think we’ll be sending pregnant women into combat?

You’re not wrong but all you have to do to fix it is click the Latest tab.

I honestly really hate these blanket statements on the military. My brother entered the military and able to pay for his PhD thanks to that, have a stable career working in the research and development of vaccines, therapies, and treatments for a variety of illnesses that you won’t see most civilian facilities bother

I just don’t get what results the trolling is supposed to have. You have Sam who says,

Some, like The Alliance Alive (which somehow keeps getting re-released each year) have been duds.
