The only part that’s wrong about what she did is how everyone treated her for it.
She wasn’t the married, elected, oath-breaking one. She just banged her boss. 

I’d argue that there is very little wrong with what he did either (the doing it part. The lying was wrong ^^) but there is definitely nothing wrong with what

as the world finally catches up to the fact that she was a young intern who made a mistake was taken advantage of by an old white man in a position of power.

And that’s the problem. She tried to move on and do something different, but she couldn’t because that’s what she was known for. He continued to be very successful on the speaking circuit and still polled well with women. He got to have a life. She didn't.

I agree. His personal life has really decreased my interest in his acting.

Actually since the recent revelation that hes Big into christian weirdness with a weird (I wont go so far as to accuse him of homophobia....buts hes homophobia-adjacent, at the least) church....and how that has re-framed his (and his characters’) brand of playful, wide-eyed naivete....my respect for him as a person

Yeah, I get the argument against it, but it feels like it’s denying people bodily autonomy. It’s sort of the extreme end of the social model of disability, which is definitely better than the medical, but it doesn’t seem to take into account that certain disabilities can just be inherently painful and debilitating.

I feel the same as a chronic illness patient. We know pain and the hardships of enduring complex medical treatment and procedures, I definitely want the option too.

This is horrible all around but it begins with the fact that the inhaled antibiotic was $2k. WTF. If we manage to pass a Medicare for all, there better be a fucking provision in there allowing the gov’t to negotiate drug prices.
