Oh god, I thought I was the only one. I feel like we should hug or something? I don’t know, this is all just so overwhelming.

It’s not good! It’s not even “that was cheesey but I loved it” good. It’s a bad movie that is neither sad nor romantic.
“The Notebook” is the most garbage-ass movie. Any pleasure derived from it should be accompanied by Raskolnikov-in-Siberia levels of guilt.
If it makes you feel any better (it probably won’t — sorry in advance), people who say stupid shit like this about Lolita have rarely read the book. So Refn is pontificating about a book that he likely never read — I would bet my heart-shaped sunglasses on it
Disagree, they had a great strategy, it was just Sansa’s and not Jon’s. Her strategy included knowing that while Jon is an excellent commander and fighter, he’s a shit strategist. He didn’t listen to her and therefore was put on a need to know basis episodes ago. She saved his life with the Vale army, and had he died…
She didn’t know they were coming. She doesn’t trust LF. What would that have done? Jon and Davos made it clear they wouldn’t wait for a potential army. They weren’t waiting for the Blackfish in episode 7 when they didn’t know if he’d show were they?
Lady Mormont is the baddest little bitch and I love her.
Not that I disagree with you or Colorado. You make excellent points. I was making a barbed statement against cultures that encourage having massive amounts of children as a source of labor or income. I was making a sarcastic and barbed statement against patriarchal societies that see female humans as chattel to be…
Um, my conception of patriarchy is pretty dark.
Hey, don’t mean to call you out, but you seem to be confusing there and their. Easy way to remember - their has an I in it, as in “I own something.” If you can use our, that’s correct. There is a location “over there,” if you can substitute here, you’ve got it right.
In California there are laws to protect those people, again I’m not sure about NY and what sort of whistle blower laws, if any, may be in place there.
it is not a HIPAA violation and you have no legal standing.
What exactly do you think the headline should be changed to? “Woman who recently had an abortion at 32 weeks is not a slutty slut so it’s ok”?
the woman literally emailed me right after the story went up to say “i’m glad you told that commenter to fuck off”
If you think that the headline VILIFIES her by simply stating she had an abortion at 32 weeks, then you are *not* pro-choice my friend. Try again.
While what her jackass boss did is not a HIPPA violation, in some states (like mine CA) it is a major legal violation and there are massive reprocussions, up to and including termination. Now I am only familiar with CA law which are some of the strictest in the country, I’m not sure what NY labor laws and privacy laws…
She had an abortion for the same reason any woman has an abortion: her own, personal, private reason. Her abortion “reason” is as unhorrifying as anybody’s abortion reason. That’s why you were told to fuck off.
the VAST majority of late-term abortions are for exactly these reasons. you were horrified by your own ignorant assumptions, and that’s on you.
you don’t get to make a woman’s choice about her own body
This feeds the incredibly damaging narrative of “Good abortions vs. Bad abortions.” The whole point is that women should be allowed to access health care without having to prove they deserve it. The headlines isn’t click bait but it raises an interesting question : who are you to decide her decision oy to remain…
