I tried very hard to go in to the book with an open mind. I really did. However, when I finished it, I felt empty. There will be spoilers ahead, so you’ve been warned:

I was living in St. Louis when this movie came out. The entire premise was ruined for me because Heather was in a commercial for Steak n’ Shake that just started two weeks before the movie came out. The idea that she had been missing for so long became preposterous because there she was trying to get people to buy…

Shock of shocks: they fired pretty much everyone from the NHL department. Now they only really have Barry Melrose to tell us in two minutes about hockey and then we go back to four hours of hearing about what Greg Hardy had for breakfast.
