I’ll bet you anything you’re going to take that back when you see the new Justice League movie and think, “Justice League: War was actually ok.” I thought that the first part of the movie, where the heroes are all meeting each other for the first time, particularly GL and Bats, was actually great.

Exactly. It’s that her two lives intersected, but not in the way that anyone would’ve expected. In fact, it was the opposite side of her life (as said, the Barbera part) not the dangerous side that it happened to. It's why I'll still always like the original book, even though I do see the flaws in it.

Exactly what I was thinking. I mentioned on Twitter that the first 30 minutes should’ve been Babs and Dick’s last adventure before TKJ. It's a real wasted opportunity. And they could've got Loren Lester back for Dick. That would've been awesome.

And it's sequel with Atlantis was even worse. I was screaming at my TV like I was Linkara reviewing a Frank Miller book. The only good thing in there was Sam Witwer as Ocean Master, but they turned him from being a patsy in the comic it was based off of (Vulko was the real culprit) into a Loki ripoff.

It’s not that Barbara’s decided to come on to Bruce. It’s that she does that in a story where we know the ending is massive tragedy for her in order to wrench extra bad feels from her father; adding sex to her relationship with Bruce piles on bad feels for him too.

It’s true we should not shame women for being sexually active, it just feels out of place for these characters. Plus, it’s disappointing that when the writers wanted to expand her story so we would feel worse when she gets shot, they immediately went with “she’s sad because she slept with a guy and then he bounced."

He’s got a very good point. The Joker especially has become over the years since “The Killing Joke” basically a cackling serial killer with very little to no humour. At this point it’s impossible to believe Harley would ever fall for that guy.

That was pretty much what I thought the instant I heard about this. Definitely reminds me of the sex scene with Crazy Steve and Black Canary in ASBAR. I think Azzarello has had to much exposure to Frankie boy.

Okay, look. Stop it. Dinosaurs didn't NEED to be badass. This is why it's so frustrating for paleontologists- the impetus is put on us to "make" dinosaurs look a certain way. Usually to try and get them to match their ridiculous Hollywood depictions.
