What my friend recommended to use when sharing files is the GS RichCopy 360. Have you heard of this software? It runs only on Windows OS and it works really well. It can transfer files to a remote site or server as well. YOu might want to test it out - http://www.gurusquad.com/blog/

Correct. Which is why just using the built-in software doesn’t work. You need to get help from another software that overcomes long path files.

This scenario is usually encountered when migrating a huge amount of files from one location to another. During the process, the transfer software encounters these long path files which is most of the time given a limited number of characters. If you encounter this, it would be wise to use a software that can help fix

I wish to agree, but I’ve been recently disappointed by Teracopy (i know you guys won’t like this!) since it has reported errors when I was transferring quite a huge amount of files and I”D HAVE TO DO IT OVER AGAIN which was time-consuming! If this happens to you, GS RichCopy 360 is the best I’ve tried so far.
