I mean, when has US intervention in Latin America ever gone wrong? It’s not like American policies in Latin America have ever caused bad things to happen down there.

It’s got to go. Why should Wyoming’s electors have 4x* the weight of California’s electors? (And it’s not just Wyoming by any means; half of the states’ electors have disproportionately more weight than California’s).

if you think these guys are well equipped wait until you see the local real american militias out in my neck of the woods of eastern washington/pandhandle of idaho. I kid, but only sort of. 

I am generally against abolishing the Electoral College, but I don’t know that I have strong arguments for that position. the best I could do would be to repost pieces from WaPo and others, which basically say:

“I literally do not understand this policy idea; it is so incredibly short sighted. Getting rid of the Electoral College is no guarantee of a liberal victory, and progressives need to understand that”

Those police are better kitted than most soldiers in hot-zones.

I have a naturally high pitched voice, and when I get myself worked up it gets higher and higher until I have to pause and reset because only dogs can hear it. Then I have my professional voice.
