And if you believe that, please go ahead and enjoy his music. I believe that it IS him, as several people were willing to testify to. Only the fact that the girl's family was paid off kept her from putting him away for decades.

He's not in jail because he bought off the victim and her family with millions of dollars.

I just looked it up. DeRogatis was called to testify in Kelly's trial due to his receipt of the video tape. Kelly's lawyers publicly accused DeRogatis of possessing child pornography (they claimed Kelly wasn't the man in the video). On the advice of his attorneys, DeRogatis refused to testify, citing his 5th Amendment

I hear ya. It's just the continued love of R. Kelly by the public and the music press really ticks me off to no end.

I may be remembering incorrectly but I believe DeRogatis was in trouble for possession of child pornography because someone sent him a copy of the video where R. Kelly was urinating on the 15 year old girl. He took the video to the police. Again, my recollection is that charges were pending for awhile against him.

As far as I know, no one in Led Zeppelin beat a statutory rape charge by paying off the victim and her family. Any dislike you may have for DeRogotis (and I'm not a fan) shouldn't lead to comparing R. Kelly to Zeppelin.

DeRogatis, in his role as a journalist, came closer to going to prison than R. Kelly, a pedophile pervert who was caught red-handed. That should be disgusting to any sane American. I give a flying fuck about it.

R. Kelly is a pedophile pervert. He should be in prison. Instead, he's releasing albums and videos with sexual themes. Lovely.

Stands and applauds.
