Yeah, either the person typing this is misremembering or is too young to remember. I was playing CS 1.5 and 1.6 in college in 2003. No steam, just disk and activation keys. They probably were inspired by Tali Zorah from Mass Effect. And figured it was a way of having a feminine silhouette while still being fully masked since it kinda has the outline of hair.

Agreed. I was born in the early 80's and I got sick of the “nostalgia” less than an hour into the audio book. I Forced my self to listen to the whole thing, but this was easily one of he worst books I’ve ever read/listened too. Does anyone actually have any of these "misconceptions"? Every single thing they listed is common sense/knowledge.

Maybe it's because I'm "old" at 31, but I have zero understanding of his appeal, or really the appeal of watching other people pay video games while overreacting to anything on screen. More power to the guy though for making a living off of it.

Seems like more of an arbitrary rule taking the place of using common sense than a life hack.

While I agree with most of the list, I could not disagree more with Denver the Last Dinosaur. I loved anything with dinosaurs in it as a kid, including this. What's not to love he was aa skate boarding dino with louvered shades that skateboards and racks pizza.
