That's not what I meant, maybe they did put three levels in random order, but that wouldn't be a problem. What I'm saying is that instead of feeling like "worlds", these levels feel like series of platforms with a random graphical theme slapped on them. A few days ago I tried Super Mario 3D Land at Best Buy, on a demo station. I played through three levels, and they were all basically platforms hanging in mid-air. They felt extremely incoherent. This is an issue I had with the Galaxy series as well, but it seems to be even worse with 3D Land.

I'm a big defender of the "console style experience" argument, so let me explain myself a little.

I actually have over three hours of commuting per day, so no, I'm not lucky :-P

Great show! The set was mostly picked from Pink, Heavy Rocks, Attention Please and Smile. Attention Please doesn't translate very well live, but aside from that it was one of my favorite shows of the year.

Congrats, that's quite an achievement! I'm stuck in some kind of catacombs with skeletons and ghost mages or something. I think I could've made more progress in the Undead Parish first, but I'll get out of the catacombs eventually.

Anyone has problems with the "In My Time Of Need" quest in Skyrim?

I had a bug like that for the "In My Time Of Need" quest. Basically, you can choose to side with a Redguard woman or with her pursuers, and if you side with the woman, you have to pay a prisoner's bounty to get some information.

I'm usually pretty reasonable with games, but this fall has been crazy. I should be able to hold out for a while now.

Holy crap, just got A Boy And His Blob (the Wii version) for 7.50$, brand new, at HMV. I'm very eager to start playing it, it looks really charming!
