Your thoughts on Alpha Protocol? I was very interested in it before launch, but the mixed reviews turned me off. Today I saw it for $25, and with a boxing week deal I can make that $12.50.

Damn, I misread the file size of FEAR, on Steam, I thought it was 1660Mb, turns out it's 16600Mb. Now I have to last on 10 gigs of bandwidth until the 27th... Think it's doable, with regular internet browsing and a few BFBC2 sessions?

@Pooka: Samantha, the creepy bipolar maid from Killer7. She may be a secondary character, but she still left a strong impression on me.

I just bought The Longest Journey on GOG. I have no idea what to expect, but a friend recommended it. I like the Monkey Island series and Grim Fandango, so I guess I'll like this one too!

@TimeNeverRests (PS1): Yeah you've got about 1/4 chance to hit him with a Phoenix Down. Just stock up on a few, it's the easiest way out. X Potions are pretty rare if I remember!

@TimeNeverRests (PS1): The boss in the dungeon underneath Cosmo Canyon... Isn't that the one you can one-hit-kill with a Phoenix Down?

@bakura: I think there was an issue with MotionInJoy and 64bit systems. What version of Windows are you using? 32 or 64?
