I’ve been watching Emmanuel Macron speaking in response to the terrorist attacks in France (and the French Embassy in Saudi Arabia), and it’s hard not to get swept away by the optics of a leader who behaves like a rational human being. I mean, look at him! Showing empathy! Being responsible! Speaking in complete

Boof! There it is!

I know it’s not my place to be proud of all of the Zoomers flexing their voting muscles, but I am. And grateful, so grateful.

Dear Gen Z,

If 2020 taught us anything, it’s that when people say “I want things back to normal,” they’re part of the power structure that sees normal as someone else’s job.

That’s the thing. They can’t delay it. The Republicans changed the Senate rules for confirming court nominations. There is literally nothing they can do to delay it. And Republicans still have a majority so they set the agenda.

Look at her record. She won't. The entire point is to enforce those beliefs onto the populace.

Not only is there literally nothing the Dems could have done to stop this, there is literally nothing to stop the Republicans from adding another few judges in the next couple of months in the event of a Biden victory.

Within 4 years, we will have a Supreme Court with 13 justices with all the new ones appointed by Biden.

I don’t blame Democrats for not stopping this nomination, or for not doing a bunch of procedural shit or whatever to delay it....it was a foregone conclusion no matter what. But now, there is no coherent argument I can think of to not expand the court, except “Well, Democrats might not win the White House or the

Mitch McConnell won the war. His eyes were on the prize and he knew exactly what to do to get there. While so many people made excuses for why a woman could not be president, McConnell seized every opportunity to establish the foundations of a Christian theocracy in the United States. Every vote counts.

“Her substance abuse issues are established early on, but her moments of binge-drinking and pill-popping excess are too archly depicted to ever approach rock bottom.”

I’m a little less concerned that they are immature, but that they have found an in-group and a system of beliefs to keep themselves that way permanently.

If you were looking around today and you felt radicalized by the lack of sexual opportunity you had
