I had two different guys try the “surprise date” angle on me in college. WTF is up with that move?
Oh yes. Very far away. Looking back not as fast or as decisively as I should have but fifteen is a bad year for good judgment.
What a little shit.
I’m fifteen and it’s the early nineties. I am goth and hanging out at the goth place with all the other goths. I walk into a coffee shop and see a girl I know who is always very dressed up but tonight she is wearing overalls and crying into her cafe latte—let’s call her Ava. I ask a mutual acquaintance if Ava is…
I’ve known him for about a decade, he’s a beautiful dancer and a very charming sociopath.
It seems like the commenter I replied to is deleting my post (or Kinja could just be eating it—who knows around here). I know there is a lot of surprise about Amar’s involvement in this and his girlfriend is defending him. It’s worth noting that Lexi was maybe 19 when they started dating and he was still married. He…
Amar is possibly the most fake person I have ever met. All the smiling and good cheer masks some really unpleasant personal tendencies. It’s like night and day with that guy.
She is not a good person.
I know Amar. He is absolute shit. He started dating his then 19 year old girlfriend (a member of the company) while married. He and his buddy (who was dating Lexi’s best friend) would refer to them as “their teens.”
One of the things that save my husband and I during the first six months was that neither of us ever took a full night of baby care. He’d do after dinner (7pm-2am) and I’d do the morning (3am-8am). It sounds a bit crazy but it meant that each of us always got at least five consecutive hours of sleep. It was a life…
The main thing I loved about the books was the fact that Singapore itself seemed like a character. Learning all the history was really fantastic. I really wish that the books had been turned into a TV series so that it didn’t have to be completely boiled down into a “rom com”.
Not to mention it’s not “retaliation” to decide to work with someone who has trash talked you before. This falls well under the heading “don’t bite the hand you want to feed you again.”
I will be completely shocked of Hunter doesn’t win. SD Republicans are hardcore about their low taxes and their racial purity.
If he could expect a pardon I can’t imagine why he would cut a deal.
Brendon wasn’t getting choked up about the show validating his life as a baker. He was getting choked up about his homosexuality being validated. He got to go on national TV with his partner and discuss his passions and partnership...and he was robbed.
“....a former Marine as well as a missionary...” Well color me fucking surprised /s
The reason we reject studying Peterson isn’t because of his politics, it’s because his positions are legitimately stupid. He doesn’t define his terms. He isn’t consistent or rigorous. He works in strawman arguments and hyperbole and when pressed for details accuses his interlocutors of being “postmodern cultural Marxis…
Try any motion sickness medicine you plan to take before you book a trip. I’ve found that there is no motion sickness that works for me. It either just plain has no effect or it knocks me out. Also, smaller ships move more.
Ask them which particular moment in American history was great. I find they get really quiet.
