Gerrymandering has nothing to do with the presidential election unless for some crazy definition-defying reason you think of the electoral college as gerrymandering.

They didn’t follow the proper procedure for holding a referendum. Opposition boycotts of illegal and/or improper elections is a common practice given the fact that high voter turnout is often used in these cases to indicate (post hoc) the validity of the results.

At the very least, it doesn’t make sense that Lane wouldn’t have given her some real talk. This is definitely the sort of behavior that should have impacted Rory’s golden girl image in the town. It would have been satisfying to see her struggle with that.
