All the Americans saying Opel are terrible have been confusing me. My family switched from VW to Opel about 7 years ago as we were sick or electronics issues in the Passat. We are all Opel at the moment and pretty happy with them.

Low and slow was because pilots didn’t have sensors or communications when it was designed. It’s decade out of date. Most of the A-10 stuff is done from altitude, just the same as Marine pilots.

Actually the make plenty of good cars, the Insignia has been a solid seller for a decade now. When it came out it was the best looking car in its class. They made good cars, not great but good.
It was close to breaking even and the UK was a great place for a car plant in Europe. They never would have sold.
