@boxspelunker: Honestly, I don't know WHO thought they were appealing in the first place. I started blocking messages from people who use squalling, hissing, farting, giggling, smart-ass comment making animated smileys.

@yvanehtnioj: I'm with you on this one. I don't mind an occasional well-placed smiley, but hh, GOD, how I hate the ones that are animated and/or noisy.
