I trust you’ve reflected upon how you are in the exact category you’re decrying here?

How’s that boot taste, cracka?

Wow what an awful person you are. You need to have more empathy for people working minimum wage jobs for one of the largest corporations on the planet. Entitled, petty, and judgy. Do better.

So the reality of grocery stores is that they have entire swaths of items called “vendor items”, which are brought in and put on the shelves by an outside company - the titular ‘vendor’ of the product.

Chances are those Walmart employees work harder every day than you have ever worked in your entire life.

everyone attempting to defend the Beast is inadvertently confirming the thesis statement of the article: that he is ANNOYING. he’s annoying! to look at, to listen to, to see coming in to your local walmart to complain about his slave labor chocolate. and yes, you can look that up, it is produced with slave labor. no

to the posters defending mr beast: you’re not allowed to be on your phone in homeroom. Back to silent reading immediately

I feel like every YouTube star that becomes the temporary king of the hill is just some immature brat leading an army of children who will soon forget him.

What property can’t this game be combined with?

I played for 8-10 hours on the weekend and only had to wait 5 minutes at one login before I could play (logged in at 4 different times).

Sure sure sure, that all makes “logical” “sense” or whatever, but you’re forgetting a very important point - somebody on the internet spent $40 and now they want to make fake bugs go splat! So, you know, those Swedes should either fix this or they should be chained to their affordable Swedish chairs until they waste

Tell me you’ve never worked in dev/QA without outright stating so.

‘Throw money at it’ isn’t an option in scaling, folks. You can’t just money your way out; once you make a solution pointing at 50k users, retooling for half a million is an incredible process and a lot of things have to fundamentally change.

Tell that to the 400,000 concurrent Steam players and the unknown number of PS5 players that are currently breaking records.

idk I logged in six separate times over the weekend, including at peak hours Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and never waited more than 10 minutes to get in. my squad I played with each time all got in within 20. so i suspect it’s a mix of a lot of people exaggerating wait times and some people who just got really

I mean, yeah, it was annoying. But, I still got to play. And it was awesome! I’ll imagine they’ll iron out the kinks real fast.

I’m so on board with this (and its other DLCs).

Sony is a multi-billion dollar company. Successful as this game is, that scale is also why they’re not going to bother just chucking money at a wall and seeing what sticks.

Hurray, the armchair server architects are here!

Well, apart from all the mentions. Given 400,000 people were playing at once, most users could log in. However, yes, with the vast numbers of people, there have been issues, as mentioned.
