Because the podcast creator is a friend and associate, I’ve been thinking maybe Simmons is involved behind the scenes and will end up reemerging at the end of the podcast, even if it’s just for a brief moment in time. This could just be the greatest PR stunt ever!

So what was the actual clearly defined GOAL of the women’s strike? What did it hope to accomplish? I think that’s one of the issues here — the actual goals are not clearly defined, as they most definitely were during the civil rights movement.
