The body language is INSANELY annoying and most certainly does not project self-confidence.

Shows are canceled because they aren’t getting ratings and hence are not bringing in the ad dollars needed for profit. It’s a business, and it’s not (or at least rarely) a personal attack when a show is canceled.
Not only has Maher not been immune to criticism but he actually had a show canceled because of something he said.
Or 8, God fucking forbid.
Nicer to the press. Lol. Do you know him yet?
Remember when press conference transcripts were pretty readable?
I will point out one thing Trump said today that was actually a brilliant maneuver. He willfully blunted the power of the headlines that have emerged about this press conference when he said, “And the papers will say I ranted and raved! And they will be lying!”
He did go there, as an undergrad student who transferred after two years at Fordham. He did not get an MBA from Wharton, though.
Compare his speech now to interviews and talks he gave 20 years ago.
Honestly, this shit is like trying to read a passage in a Joyce, Pynchon, or Barthes novel for the first time with no guide and you’re just stabbing in the dark trying to understand all of the references and allusions in the stream of consciousness narrative and what it all means.
I was kind of thinking it was a variation of his “People are dying on the streets because of Obamacare” theme. Like, they’re dying in the alleys, too. The alleys are filled up with Obamacare-inspired corpses.
I was actually shocked he didn’t argue it and scream, “FAKE NEWS! FAKE DATA! ALL FAKE!”
Trump did not write a word of The Art of the Deal, either. Not that the use of a ghostwriter is any kind of problem (it’s done all the time), but one should never say Trump *wrote* anything.
I mean, I guess, but he’s definitely not capable of providing strong (or ANY) evidence to back his claims, and that goes along with the usual Trumpian MO.
Stephen Miller — I swear to Christ, every time I look at him I think of how Gene Siskel looked when he was afflicted with the brain cancer that eventually killed him. Miller’s eyes are droopy and utterly empty — he looks brain damaged/like he has a terrible tumor. And incredible that he is only 31.
This is a mashup, obviously — wish it had really happened this way, though!
What is the answer in 2017, though? Are you saying there should be no immigration laws? Obviously, that is not going to be the case, nor should it be.
Right, and I’m not going to lie — I haven’t been *unhappy* with the boost my equities funds have gotten, at least up to this point. But I’m not feeling that huge long-term confidence in that area that some are still insisting upon.
Yeah, that is actually a little ridiculous. A whole life is not marked by the past few weeks of a political administration. And what does “Rest in peace” mean?
Or why all of the suddenly “woke” progressives said nothing when 2.5 million people were deported under the Obama administration. Sadly, there is a lot of ignorance and misinformation tainting BOTH sides. Intelligent discussion is becoming increasingly difficult to even attempt.
