Westbrook, Roberson, Paul, Grant and Adams is a pretty legit starting lineup. The complementary guys aren’t going to piss and moan for not getting touches, everyone CAN (and 4 of them reliably) play solid defense. Carmelo was a huge speedbump, but I think going forward they’re in the hunt for one of the top 3 spots in

Trent Dilfer made Shaun King look like John Elway

February is usually the worst month of the winter in most parts of Canada. Is winter nice in New England, or like, the Great Lake states in February?

This is almost certainly the explanation. He probably hit his head or got caught up in underwater vegetation. All night rager or not, it’s incredibly sad and happens all to frequently.

Ask the Heat if they’d prefer Whiteside or Adams.

For a solid, say, 1/3rd of the United States, opposing slavery is not a guarantee

Just because a team or owner is wealthy, doesn’t necessarily mean they wont be cheap as fuck.

In the end, the market value has the effect of “capping” salaries. Owners are only going to pay so much, and no player is going to price himself out of the league.

He is not as good as Avery Bradley, who makes shy of $9 mil. Smart and Rozier are both OK players who don’t deserve 8 figure contracts... that some bozo team that isn’t the Celtics will hand them when they become UFA’s.

Perfect game - 27 batters, all struck out on 3 pitches, swinging or called.

Is there any realistic chance that someone is going to trade for him? I don’t care what situation your team is in cap space or personnel wise, I can’t see Melo being beneficial to either one of those aspects. They’re gonna have to stretch his contract or buy him out.

Give us the world we deserve, with Dwight Howard and Melo as teammates!

Name 22 better Centers, shit name 14 - seriously give it a try!

There is a lot of hate in the grey’s for Barnes, but he’s been a close to 20 ppg guy since heading to Dallas. They may have lost in the finals his last year in GS, but they won 73 games in the regular season. Not like the team was butt. I agree they wouldn’t be the Juggernaut they are now, but they’d still clearly be

The fucked thing is, if they woulda just kept Harrison Barnes, then you’ve got 4 homegrown, through the draft stars, and Iggy is a nice “that guy deserves it” kinda story. They’d still be an all-time team*, and they’d be a real example of what can be done with good drafting and stewardship of your players and assets.

That’s kind of the thing. If Kawhi stays put, or doesn’t head to the Lakers, how does a rotation of Lonzo, LBJ, Ingram, Kuzma and Randle work? You’ve got 2 SF’s, 2 PF’s and a PG with a wonky jumper?

Comparison:

Not all, but the vast majority, with a direct correlation between years played as the biggest factor. It’s been near universal in pro players examined, and a high percentage of university and high school players examined had it as well.

The issue you get with a setup of twelve 4 team groups is in the knockout round - if its a straight bracket you go from 24-12-6, then 3 teams left.

That 2nd kid needs better situational awareness. What, did she think the ball that just took out her brother evaporated?
