Agreed. Those are the games that are doing it right. Then giving the players free DLC (maps, characters, etc).

I think loot boxes are great when it comes to cosmetic items. Those people who want to pay for a new skin or emote can while others can obtain them through enough gameplay. Its a win/win for developers as well as gamers. No real advantage in game for the paying players. As long as the paid items aren’t game changing…

Definitely think Halo 2 was one of the best. I know it’s not as old as most others on here but it still blows me away every time I listen to it.
