Agreed.

You raise an interesting point about the memoir’s title. I think it was written by someone with a good understanding of how she wanted to be remembered. It is to be read between the lines rather than as an earnest, factual account of a life.

I love Dashkova’s memoirs too. She was an incredible person. Show is on my list!
