Just enjoying seeing the movies from that year getting brought up. I don’t understand why the Oscars can’t just be superficial and fun. Even if they try to have it both ways, no one has to take it seriously. I do think they usually do well with the screenplay awards. It seems like they recognize what might be below

I revisited both movies recently with my teenage son. It was like seeing it the first time I saw it before it was the film that won. Everyone loved that movie. Lots of people loved Pulp Fiction.

I had a strong presence on movie forums in the late-90s. I will still maintain it as best explaination for anyone who is serious about discussing it objectively and rationally: the Academy voters thought long and hard about the top contenders. In the end, they just decided to vote for the movie with fewer depictions

I don’t buy that we aren’t seeing a virtual world that’s basically Westworlds version of Disney’s Honey I Shrunk The Audience attraction. Caleb is probably Serac’s brother who is in what might be a beta testing system using the game as therapy. This is all something Ford has been doing since season one when he killed

I thought the tethered were meant to represent our respective cultural histories. We are tethered to the darkness of our pasts but can still rise up and do better if given opportunities.

Wow, thanks. That’s a good lead. They used the same set again in the last episode and I didn’t feel as sure. Thought on and ended up thinking of how indoor pools do show up a lot on screen. I think it was more likely the vibes of those shows having some similarities and also how they featured the pools. Usually

I don’t know why performances of the best songs is what they home in on. For maybe the past 16 years it seems like the whole show is just going in poor directions. I’ve always liked the show best when it just focused on the nominees. There’s been some great showcases and performances through the years that happened

It looks like the stage that they shot the Harley and Catwoman showdown is the same stage that was used in Legion, and also in American Horrow Story: Hotel. I’m not sure how to confirm that, but just noting the similarity.

Something like this happened to me many years ago. It turned out to be a naked prostitute who was assaulted by a John and pushed out of the car. I’d spoken with others in the area who said it wasn’t unheard of. I don’t know what the situation is here but it reminded me of that really weird thing that happens more than

He means it the same way like how you can hack a vaporizer with a styrofoam cooler, pool noodle, desktop fan and a pocket knife. He calls it Buddy Hackett.

This might be the first time I’ve seen a video and wished there was a 360 VR experience available.

Mr. Reggie’s Lawn Cutting Service is the feel good movie of the summer that the world needs. I want an entire Mr. Reggie’s YA series.  This kid is awesome.

Even if the kid shot someone, breaking the law or not, why is it that people assume his reason for murder would be less valid than the cop’s?

I know Mark Mothersbaugh has praised that song and I swore someone in Devo said that they heard it and collectively agreed he wrote the best Devo song ever written.

What is there too be explained there? Am I missing something? He was an ex-astronaut playboy. Are there really people asking about the laser cannons?

To protect and serve your restaurant bill. Stay classy, PD!

Black people are doing a better job at making America great.

Even better, I think. Wouldn’t what he’s doing technically count as gentrifying? I mean, I’m pretty sure what he’s saying he’s on about has nothing to do with the way kids act in a restaurant. He’s raging about the public, not the establishment.

I’d like to point out that he is both complaining about white entitlement while asking for an entitlement because he’s white.
