Going through an intersection where there is no room for them and blocking traffic through the intersection.

I am not talking about the one biker in the video posted in this article. I am talking about the many people here posting the police dash cam video showing about 50 or so bikers all ganging up on the cop, obviously taunting him and preventing him from chasing their friends, holding up traffic, etc.

I would argue that behavior like what is exhibited in these videos is more to blame for anyone thinking of bikers as less than human. I know I feel like humanity wouldn't be at much of a loss if a few of these idiots were spilled all over the freeway.

No matter how you slice it, you are taking without permission. That is theft in my book.

No problems. I won't try arguing with those that do so with ad hominem attacks on people but it is fun to have actual discussions. I wasn't taking anything personally and hopefully you aren't either.

I absolutely agree with you on all of your points.

It is not judging. It is about what is allowed under our laws. Entitlement is clearly defined in law and it is not hard to distinguish what you are and are not entitled to.

In the case of decency laws, there is no commercial value at stake and I think you have chosen a very poor analogy to try and prove a point. I'm not sure what that point was, but I do not think you can ever make a case where taking someone else's property is going to become OK to the public.

Yes, but the attitude of "unless the other side changes to doing things the way I want them done, I'm going to continue taking it from them," is not the correct answer.

It's not about the feeling of entitlement.

I wondered about that.

There is a difference to feeling entitled and being entitled.

Because you are not taking from the person that owns the CD. You are taking from a litany of individuals who did not get paid by you.

Bald men aren't extinct because we can manipulate the environment or ourselves to such a degree that baldness does not matter.

Yeah, right. We can't even get any municipalities in the US to use the better, longer lasting types of concrete and asphalt because they cost more (in the short run).

1st Gear:

I guess you should get something for all the earthquakes, brush fires, flooding rains and resulting mudslides that happen from time to time.

For the most part, I agree. In the interest of full disclosure, I am an Apple fan. I only use their computing products, both at home and the office.

I'll just add to the other content from Matthew that it also allows you to send music from your computer to a compatible set of speakers or music system.

Yes. With a manual gearbox, please.
